Project: A large natural gas consumer with a propane backup system, with a 3,000 MMBTU/dayconsumption rate asked PSG to work on their behalf to attempt to reduce local and interstate distribution costs.
Analysis: A study of current pricing and available alternatives was undertaken and a strategy for optimizing delivery methodologies was recommended.
Results for Client: Annual cost reductions for the client in addition to the implementation of new rate structures resulting in a 28%/year, ($850,000 in annual savings). (These cost savings are ongoing.)
